Becoming a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) requires the completion of a rigorous curriculum designed to give participants an in-depth understanding of the latest design concepts and mobility solutions available for homeowners who want to continue living safely and comfortably at their residences throughout their senior years. Once certified, specialists continue their education by completing additional coursework every three years.
